Claustrophobia
This is a painting I did a while ago when I was back in school studying for my A'levels. It is called 'Claustrophobia' because as far as I can remember that is the title we were given from which to produce a painting. It depicts my little sister (who is not so little now at 18 years) sitting all huddled up in the cupboard under the stairs surrounded by all the junk that has accumulated there over the years. Don't read too much into it!...Debbie is is not normally inclined to hibernate in the foetal position in cupboards under stairs except when her brother asks her to do so in the aid of the advancment ot art and culture.
